Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge in Windows Server Administration, SQL Server Administration, Microsoft Azure Administration, and Azure Data Services Administration. Additionally, the candidate should have intermediate skills in IIS Administration, Linux Fundamentals & System Administration, and Networking & Security Fundamentals. This role involves managing database administration tasks and ensuring the seamless operation of data services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Windows Server environments.
• Perform IIS administration tasks to support web applications and services at an intermediate level.
• Oversee Linux system operations and security at an intermediate level.
• Ensure robust networking and security practices to protect our IT infrastructure at an intermediate level.
• Administer SQL Server databases to support data operations proficiently.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring optimal performance.
• Administer Azure Data Services, ensuring efficient and reliable data operations.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement effective data solutions.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes

Qualifications

• Proven experience in database administration and managing data services.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and database administration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage database administration tasks effectively.
