Job Summary –

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, optimize, and secure our database infrastructure in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and other Azure data services, along with strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills..

Key Responsibilities –

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Azure SQL Databases, Azure Managed Instances, and SQL Server
• Plan, design, and implement database migrations from on-premises to
• Configure and manage high availability, disaster recovery (HADR), and backup/restore
• Optimize database performance, indexing, and query
• Implement security best practices, including data encryption, auditing, and role-based access
• Automate database maintenance tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, or Azure
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate databases into CI/CD
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production and non-production
• Maintain compliance with governance, security, and regulatory

Required Skills and Proficiencies: –

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator with 3+ years on Azure
• Expertise in:
  • Azure SQL Database, SQL Server (2016+), Managed Instances
  • Backup & Restore, HA/DR, Failover Clustering, Always On Availability Groups
  • Performance tuning, indexing, query optimization
  • Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and security configurations
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL scripting, PowerShell, and
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB (nice to have).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication

Certifications:-

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Preferred)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Experience: –
• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in cloud administration, with a focus on Microsoft
• Demonstrated ability to perform daily administrative tasks efficiently and
