Challenges With On-Prem Environment
Managing an on-premises environment can present various challenges for organizations. As businesses continue to adopt cloud-based solutions, the viability of traditional on-premises infrastructure is being questioned, and companies are looking for ways to overcome the following challenges.
High Capex
Deploying an on-premises cloud computing infrastructure requires a significant upfront investment in hardware, software, and personnel.
Continuous Upgrades
Maintaining and upgrading an on-prem cloud computing infrastructure requires significant expertise and resources.
Limited Scalability
On-premises cloud computing resources are limited by the capacity of the organization’s own data center. This can make it challenging to meet sudden spikes in demand.
Disaster Recovery
IT teams need a well-curated plan for disaster recovery for server farms, which requires additional resources and costs.
High Emission
Servers older than 4 years consume 65% energy, and contribute to only 4% performance
Migration Journey to Drive Higher ROIs and Greater Efficacy
We use varied approaches to transition to Cloud application approach, lift and shift or redeployment. With deep Cloud expertise & the help of data analytical tools, we assess and plan the transition stages, so you achieve higher ROIs and maximum efficacy.

Server Sizing
- Oracle DB licensing terms vary for cloud deployment.
- The Challenge is to match the VM performance on cloud without need to purchase additional licenses.
Setup Pre-production Environment
- Ran load Test
- Arrived at True Sizing Value.
- Able to match performance with the same licenses
- Setup temporary leased line with 100 Mbps speed (For 15 days from TATA)
- Ran tests Failover to Azure.
Bandwidth Issue
- Local bandwidth was too low to support initial copy of files with ASR.
- Millions of small files slowed down the copying process.
